With his victory in Virginia and his sweep of California, Oregon, and Washington, Democrat Barack Obama will become the 44th President of the United States.

McCain just won Texas and Mississippi.

Obama still leads 207-135

McCain has won Utah, Kansas, and Arkansas (which way is the right pronunciation of the latter two?) while Obama has added Iowa.

Obama now leads 207-95.

2008 Presidential Election, Part 6

McCain has added Georgia, Louisiana, and Virginia while Obama has collected Ohio and New Mexico.

Obama is now 70 votes short of the White House and maintains a 200-78 electoral vote lead.

And no Republican has ever won the Presidency without winning Ohio.

McCain has taken Alabama., Wyoming and North Dakota while Obama has added Rhode Island, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and New York.

Obama leads 175-49.

2008 Presidential Election, Part 4

Obama adds Pennsylvania.

Obama leads 103-34 in the electoral vote.

2008 Presidential Election, Part 3

CNN has conceded New Hampshire to Obama.

Obama now leads 82-34.
